Regular followers of Xcheque.com will know that we often wax lyrical about what is going on in Europe and the US. It's a bit of cheek really. I have spent time in the UK and Europe but that was in a different lifetime. At the time cows were not high on the agenda (apart from in UHT shelf stable meals).
"The time has come," the Walrus said, ... and that is a very apt epithet because I'm off to see him in person.
Over the next two months I will be travelling in the UK, Ireland, and other parts of Europe. It's a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the European dairy industry. Here are a few first impressions.
Singapore, Sunday .... No cows here.
Frankfurt, Tuesday ... Are they serious? Is this real milk in this cup of coffee or overheated UHT swill.
London Wednesday ... St Paul's Cathedral. No cows here either but the coffee was better.
